Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art/Emphasis: Visual Communication (Graphic Design) from Northern Illinois University.  She also has an Associate of Arts Degree in Art; and a Certificate in Drafting.

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys camping, hiking, biking, and exploring the outdoors; photography; home improvement projects; and spending time with family.

In his spare time, Joseph enjoys handyman projects; snowmobiling and skiing; hobby farming; camping, hiking, biking, and exploring the outdoors; and spending time with family.

POSITION: SENIOR CONSULTANT

Lisa is involved in all aspects of project development and implementation at QCGIS Consulting, LLC.  She enjoys using creativity and problem-solving skills to develop practical, functional, and aethetic solutions for QCGIS clients.

​She has over 30 years of experience working with local governments, primarily as the Data/GIS Director of the Bi-State Regional Commission, where she oversaw geographic information system/mapping and data services; and graphic design/website activities.  She was the project leader for:

We are a small, solution-driven company specializing in assisting our clients navigate the ever-changing and expanding world of geo-spatial technology, challenges, and solutions.  We've been working with local governments, school districts, not-for-profits, emergency services providers, and private sector clients for over 30 years.

We are a husband and wife team who've been in the geo-spatial industry since the early 1990s, working together to assist our community and region in both the public and private sector.  We each bring our own unique approach, skills, and experiences to the table to help our clients.  Joseph is adept at solving analytical and technical challenges and he enjoys meeting with our clients and getting to know what they need.  Lisa brings her artistic and creative side to the picture, but is also skilled at unraveling technical challenges and thrives on finding solutions that will communicate clearly and be used by clients.   Together, we truly enjoy using our combined skills, talents, creativity, work ethic, and diligence to help our clients with their mapping, data, and geographic Information system challenges.

JOSEPH MILLER

POSITION: PRESIDENT

Joseph leads the company's business operations, marketing, and strategic planning.  He is also the technical guru.  Joseph has worked with the City of East Moline, Illinois as GIS Manager for over 13 years and previously for IMEG (formerly MSA and Missman Stanley) leading the company's GIS Services for 15 years.  Joseph also spent time with the US Army Corps of Engineers and Bi-State Regional Commission.

​​​​He oversees all GIS activities at the City of East Moline, including infrastructure management (water, storm, and sanitary
